As some of you probably know, a 3 year old’s toys can take up more floor space than you might like, especially after Christmas. New Year is the perfect time for a bit of consolidation and identifying what they still need and what they may have grown out of. Hence parting with this item this morning.
This Fisher Price toddler truck and walker has served us well for about 3 years, due to its dual purpose. It also plays music and has castle style building blocks and a princess to build up the front of the truck. But Bella is too big for it now and its taking up valuable space in our little London terrace.
So I took this, along with some other items, to the British Heart Foundation shop in Penge, fully intending NOT to make any purchases as I hadn’t finished my consolidating.
But on the way out I spotted a mint green chunky-knit jumper in my size that I had seen and wanted in Top Shop (during my previous life – before the 95%-wardrobe-sourcing-from-secondhand pledge). How could I let it go? So it is now mine for £6.49.
Thanks very much, again, British Heart Foundation, Penge.
