The 40(ish) item wardrobe – Part 3

It may have been a fluke, I don’t know, but I was out of the house 15 minutes earlier this morning in time saved finding an outfit. Which meant I was on the right train for once.

And the outfit I decided on is this, below. The image is taken from my Instagram feed from about a year ago. Ralph Lauren checked shirt, Abercrombie and Fitch jeans, Enzo Poli shoes – all from charity shops (Traid Camden, British Red Cross Penge, Fretex Oslo respectively).

The shirt was so hidden I hadn’t considered it for all that time and it wasn’t easy to see what the shoes would go with. Now there is so much less in the wardrobe its all easier to see.

There’s still work to do to get down to 40 items. I’ve hidden the jumpsuit and the playsuit (see Part 2) to see if I’m at all bothered about their absence.

I’ll keep you posted.
